Directions for installing bluetooth on a Zaurus 5600 SLEquipment I used: Zaurus SL 5600 AmbiCom Compact Flash BT2000 Bluetooth Card Download these ipkg files: libopenobex_1.0.0-1_arm.ipk bluetooth-connector_2.0.2.0-1_arm.ipk blueapplet_2.0.1.0-2_arm.ipk affix_2.0.2-2_arm.ipk Open the Zaurus File Transfer application and navigate to My Zaurus/Internal Flash/Install_Files Copy the 4 ipk packages above into this directory in the Zaurus File Transfer application. After it finishes, go to the Zaurus itself and go to the Settings tab and choose 'Add/Remove Software'. You should see the 4 packages you just moved over through the Zaurus File Transfer. Install each of them. After that, close the Add/Remove Software application and it should tell you that it is applying the changes. You should be brought to the applications screen at this point. Insert the card into the Compact Flash slot, and hopefully you will see the Bluetooth icon appear the bottom in the status area. Additionally you will see on the Applications tab an icon for the Bluetooth Connector (at the bottom most likely). Now you're set up to use Bluetooth. |
