Scenario:

Amy, a single parent who works at home as a freelance financial writer, has be using Collaborative Bridge Applications (CBA) for several months. She is very pleased with her purchase. She particularly likes the media compository she created last week. She used a standard 4-Pane layout and combined it with a navigation pallet that was limited to streaming media selections. She saved one pane to rotate through the navigation selections and set the other three panes to permanent views of her most important streams. One pane showed the video stream from the videocam in her daughter's bedroom. Another stream showed the videocam at the front door, and the third stream that came throught he Internet showed her grandmother's room in a local nursing home. By selecting one of the panes, she received audio--either one way or two way as appropriate. She also had and audio alert threshold that would force a particular pane to the frontmost window if something loud happended. She usually kept the rotating pane on CNBC, CNN, or FOX depending on the dynamics of the daily financial goings on. She particularly liked CBA's ability to shrink and zoom the overall display window--that way she could make the display smaller and set it off to one side on her computer screen. This setup allowed her to focus all her attention on writing while being able to keep tabs on other items of personal interest.
