Really Simple Scenarios
These scenarios are meant to drive incremental changes to the Bridge environment. They are usually limited to single issues and don't necessarily represent the final end state. These scenarios will probably change as their designs are incorporated into Bridge.

Simple Scenario A: Harry Meets Sally
Harry and Sally are partners in a graduate sociology class. This class has a course plan on Bridge, and all the students have server accounts. Harry and Sally agreed to meet online at 8:00 pm to work on adding their project statement to the course plan. As 8:00 rolls around Harry is in the full editor making some updates to the bibliography section of the course site. Shortly after 8:00 Sally brigns up the course plan in her web browser and begins looking at the section they need to edit. She notices that Harry is working on a nearby but different part of the course site. Sally double clicks on Harry's name to initiate a chat. This results in a login dialog for Sally followed by entry into a web-based chat object. Sally and Harry discuss a few items of interest and agree to meet in the class notes. Sally accesses the "navigate" feature of the chat object to indicate she wants to meet with Harry in her currently viewed object using the full editor. Harry accesses the "navigate" feature of the chat object to indicate he wants to join with Sally. The system goes "Whurr, whurr, wump wump, wiggle." and they are both in the full editor looking at the course plan. Harry and Sally go on to create and post their project statement.
Simple Scenario B: Sally Waits for Harry
Sally just completed the abstract for the paper she is writing with Harry. She knows Harry plans to edit her first draft sometime this afternoon, and she really wants to be available to respond to any questions he may have. She deploys a user proxy to alert her when Harry...
