This weblog requires many manual operations to add entries. Additionally, I would like to be able to add categories to better classify several of the entries.

This weblog requires many manual operations to add entries. These operations include copying folders, renaming them, and changing internal information in several files. That all is a huge inhibibition to frequent posting. Additionally, I would like to be able to add categories to better classify several of the entries. Then it would make sense to post meeting results in the weblog rather than in their own structure.

Overall, there seems to be view of information that a project web site needs to maintain: chronological and topical. Chronological views are useful to show the chronology of the effort and to capture information as it is generated. This would include meeting minutes, research ideas and efforts, literature encounters, development of publications, directional changes, presentations, requests for comment, activities, and so on. On the other hand, some views can only be topical or hierarchal, for example, lists of participants, description of the project, theoretical underpinnings, etc. Some views beg to be created in one view and accessible in another. For example, a literature review may result in several entries in a chronology as the various articles are surfaced, discussed, and evaluated. A topical literature review section, on the other hand, should probably only contain a subset of jusdged to be relevant articles.
